Charles Sparks worked for the Columbia-Adair County Fire Department for 32 years. He was also a deputy state fire marshal and a state fire rescue training instructor.
Fire officials stated that "He lived and breathed firefighting. Took it very seriously." Other officials stated: “Charles did so much for emergency medical services, in Kentucky, not just in Adair County. He’s well known; He deserves everything and more."
Charles is survived by his wife, Tammy and his 15-year-old son, Trent.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Charles Sparks is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
