Anthony Valerio - Firefighter - California

Firefighter-Paramedic Anthony Valerio, age 53, died on June 4, 2011, of injuries sustained in fighting an electrical fire at a house in San Francisco. 

Light a candle for Anthony.
Light his way to Heaven.

Anthony died during a "flashover", which is an explosion from intense heat.

Anthony was a veteran of the San Francisco Fire Department and worked out of Station 26.

Anthony Valerio is remembered as a free-spirited world traveler who loved to cook, scuba dive, ride motorcycles and raise chickens.

Fire Department officials stated that Tony touched a lot of lives both on and off his job and if you were lucky enough to meet him you couldn't help but be his friend.

Pray for all who are killed in the line of duty.
