Robert C. Schlote

Sgt. Robert C. Schlote, age 26, of Norfolk, Nebraska., died on May 14, 2011, in Omaha, Nebraska., from a non-combat related medical illness. 

He was assigned to the 195th Forward Support Company, Nebraska Army National Guard, Omaha, Nebraska.   Robert was a nine year veteran of the Nebraska National Guard.

He is survived by numerous loving family members including his wife, Tiffany and his infant daughter, Blair. 

Robert was on his fourth deployment -- this time with the Omaha-based 195th Forward Support Company, which mobilized for Afghanistan in January. He enlisted in the National Guard the summer before his senior year, and reported for basic training after graduating in 2003. 

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Robert C. Schlote is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
