Riley S. Spaulding

Spc. Riley S. Spaulding, age 21, of Sheridan, Texas, died May 4 in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained in a non-combat incident. 

He was assigned to the 2nd Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment, Vilseck, Germany.

Pray that Riley is on
the stairway to Heaven

Riley Spaulding graduated from Rice High School in 2007. He is the son of Micki Spaulding of Sheridan, Texas.

He is described by loved ones as an energetic young man who loved to fish on a lake near their home, and to hang out with his friends.

He completed basic training at Fort Benning, Georgia, and served a tour in Iraq. His last tour was in the Kandahar province in Afghanistan.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Riley S. Spaulding is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
