Siri Skare

Norwegian pilot Lt. Col Siri Skare, age 53, was killed on April 1, 2011, in Afghanistan, after extremists stormed a United Nations compound in the northern city of Mazar-i-Sharif.  

God, the Father, who holds
us in his hands, take
Siri to Heaven

She had been working as a UN military advisor in the country since August, 2010.  


The mob beheaded two U.N. guards, seized their weapons and began shooting those inside the compound after a demonstration against Koran burnings in the U.S. turned violent. 

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Siri Skare is in heaven. Let us pray that she is at peace and is with God. Amen
