Loren M. Buffalo

Cpl. Loren M. Buffalo, age 20, of Mountain Pine, Ark., died March 9, 2011, in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.

He was assigned to the 1st Squadron, 75th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division.

He joined the Army in May 2009 and arrived at Fort Campbell in October 2009. He had received the Bronze Star and Purple Heart. 

Loren Buffalo is survived by his father, Cecil M. Buffalo of Mountain Pine, Arkansas and his mother, Anjanette D. Buffalo of West Bend, Wisconsin.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Loren Buffalo is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
