Johnathan W. Taylor

Cpl. Johnathan W. Taylor, age 23, died February 22, 2011, while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan, when a bomb blew up beneath his feet. 

Johnathan Taylor was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.

He had four deployments with a Marine combat unit in Iraq and Afghanistan. 

Loving family members and friends described him as "once a marine, always a marine", as sharing towards his Marine comrades, as remembering of his fallen comrades, and uncomplaining. 

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Johnathan Taylor is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
