Barry E. Jarvis

Sgt. Barry E. Jarvis, age 36, of Tell City, Indiana, was killed when an Afghan policeman fired on his military trainers in Nangarhar province near the Pakistani border. The gunman, believed to be a Taliban sleeper agent, also was killed. 

Barry Jarvis was a member of the Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, stationed in Fort Campbell, Ky.

He is survived by his wife, Tina, and numerous other relatives. 

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Barry E. Jarvis is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
