Staff Sgt. Sean Michael Flannery, age 29, was killed on November 22, 2010, while patrolling the village of Ghotamudkha, Kandahar province, Afghanistan. A bomb exploded near his patrol.
He was from Fort Campbell, Ky. He was assigned to Alpha Company, 2nd Battalion, 502nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division.
Sean Flannery joined the Army in July 2004 and is survived by his mother, Charlene V. Flannery of Wyomissing.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Sean Flannery is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
