Andrew N. Meari

Private First Class Andrew N. Meari, age 21, died November 1, 2010, when his unit was attacked with a vehicle-borne explosive device in Kandahar, Afghanistan.

Andrew Meari was an Infantryman assigned to the 101st Airborne Division. He joined the Army in October 2008 and was based in Fort Cambpell, Ky., where he first arrived in February 2009, according to the Army.

He won many medals and honors for his service.

He survived by his mother, Denise Meehan of Plainfield and father, Mahmoud Meari of Grafton, Wisc.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Andrew Meari in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
