A graduate of Papillion-La Vista High School and the University of Nebraska-Omaha was killed in action in Afghanistan on August 28, 2010. Army 2nd Lt. Mark Noziska died as the result of a roadside bombing.The 24-year-old was deployed about a month ago to the Kandahar region.
Mark graduated from high school in 2004, and has family roots in Grand Island. He graduated from the University of Nebraska-Omaha with a degree in criminal justice.
He is survived by his mother and father.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Mark Noziska is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
