Benjamen Chisholm

A Fort Worth-area soldier killed in Afghanistan is being remembered as a young man full of joy and eager to learn.  About 100 people packed into a Fredericksburg church Wednesday morning for funeral services honoring Pfc. Benjamen Chisholm.

The 24-year-old and another soldier died August 17, 2010 after their vehicle was the target of a roadside bomb. Ben Chisholm graduated from Northwest High School, and used to volunteer at an equine therapy center in Keller. He was a member of the 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry of the 101st Airborne Division, based in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Ben was on his first deployment, and a newlywed, when he died.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Benjamen Chisholm is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
