Stephen Gilbert

A British soldier, Bombardier Stephen Gilbert, age 36, was injured in an explosion when on joint patrol with the Afghan National Army on June 10. He died thereafter.

He was with the 4th Regiment Royal Artillery in Afghanistan.

The father-of-two was based in Topcliffe, near Northallerton, and had served in Kosovo and Iraq as well as being an instructor at the Harrogate college during 11 years in the army.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Stephen Gilbert is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
