First Lt. Christopher Goeke, age 23, of Apple Valley, died during an attack on an Afghanistan National Army facility in Kandahar City,Afghanistan.Christopher served out of Ft. Bragg, N.C., with the 82nd Airborne Division.
Christopher Goeke's family described him as a proud soldier, a beloved family member and devoted Christian.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Christopher Goeke is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
