Chase Stanley

Army Spc. Chase Stanley was killed on in July, 2010, when an improvised explosive device struck his vehicle in Zabul Province, Afghanistan.

Lance Bubak, who was a year behind Chase Stanley at Capell Valley Elementary School, said his friend could be a joker. He recalled a camping trip when Stanley gave everyone nicknames that stuck for the rest of the weekend.

Mandy Epperson, another friend, said he could brighten up any party.

Chase Stanley was based out of Fort Bragg, N.C. He had previously served in Iraq.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Chase Stanley is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
