A soldier from southwest Florida has been killed in Afghanistan.
Spc. Carlos J. Negron, age 40, of Fort Myers who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom, died July 10, 2010, from wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit with rifle and small arms fire.He was assigned to 426th Forward Support Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell in Kentucky.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Carlos Negron is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
