Stephanie and Jeremy Byington - victims of impaired driving in Texas

Jeremy and Stephanie
Stephanie and Jeremy Byington, both age 42, died on April 5, 2016, in The Colony, Texas.

The Colony is a city of under 40,000 and is about 30 miles north of downtown Dallas.

At about 8:00 p.m., Stephanie and Jeremy were driving on their motorcycle on a service road near the Colony, Texas.

They were struck by an SUV which had run a red light.

Tragically, both Stephanie and Jeremy died at the scene of the collision. They had recently celebrated their 22nd anniversary.

Their 21 year old son was riding on a motorcycle behind his parents and witnessed their deaths.

funding site has been set up to help the Byington family with expenses.

The driver of the SUV is reported to have had a blood alcohol level just over the legal limit. It is not known, as of this posting, if charges will be laid.

The driver of the SUV is innocent unless charged and proven guilty.

Angels of God, pray for Stephanie
and for Jeremy; and for those
who have lost them.
However we offer this advice to all drivers: If you find that you are wasted, drunk, wired or doped up on street drugs or prescription drugs or if you are falling asleep on your feet, do NOT drive. Call a family member or a friend for a ride; or take a taxi or a bus; or stay where you are until you sober up; or crawl home on your hands and knees. It will be better for you and for the world if you do.

Regret can last a lifetime.

Stephanie and Jeremy's loved ones are devastated over their sudden and tragic deaths. They were loved. They did their best. They will be forever mourned.

Stephanie and Jeremy are survived by many loving friends and family members including their son and daughter.

God save us from the drunk drivers, the doped up drivers and the speeding drivers. They are killing us, Father. Amen.

Pray that Stephanie and Jeremy are in Heaven. Pray that they are at peace and are with God. Amen.
