Bruce Kuiper |
Around 10:00 p.m. Bruce and his wife, Ling Heung, age 50, were driving home from shopping when their vehicle stalled at an intersection. The driver of the car behind them, Marshall Kent, age 22, pulled up to offer his assistance and Bruce got out of his vehicle to talk to the Good Samaritan.
Ling Heung was phoning her insurance company and arranging for a tow truck when a SUV struck Bruce's vehicle which crashed into him. The driver then sped away.
Ling Heung told her husband that she loved him and to stay strong. They prayed together.
Bruce was rushed to a local hospital where tragically he was pronounced deceased.
A 17 year old teenage boy was arrested in connection with this crime and was placed in juvenile detention. He surrendered to the authorities on the advice of his family's lawyer. His name has not been released by the Police.
Ling Heung and Bruce had gotten married in November of 2014 after being together
for over a decade.
Light a candle for Bruce. Light his way to Heaven. |
Bruce owned an executive personnel search firm in Orlando. He had suffered from two heart attacks a few years ago and then underwent two brain surgeries after falling off of his bicycle and injuring his head. He was a man of faith and attended Living Stone Community Church in Orlando.
Bruce's loved ones are devastated over his sudden and tragic death. He dealt with many health issues but still held his head up. He did his best. He will be forever mourned.
Bruce is survived by many loving friends and family members including his wife, Ling Heung.
Pray for justice for Bruce.
God save us from those who strike us down on the road and then run away like wolves. Amen.
Pray that Bruce is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
