Misty Holt Singh - an innocent bystander killed in a bank robbery in Stockton, California

Misty Holt Singh
Misty Holt Singh, age 41, died on July 16, 2014, in Stockton, California.

Misty had driven herself and her daughter, Mia, to a local bank to withdraw money for a haircut. Mia was waiting in the car while her Mom went in to do the banking. Misty entered the bank during a robbery being conducted by three men.

She and two bank employees were forced into a stolen SUV at gunpoint. The SUV sped off and was chased by the Police for an hour. Misty was the only hostage still in the vehicle an hour later when the vehicle stopped and a furious gun battle between the bank robbers and the police erupted. During the exchange of bullets, Misty Holt Singh was shot and killed in the back of the vehicle.

As of this posting, it is unclear if it was a bullet fired by the robbers or by the police that killed this poor woman.

Two of the robbers - Gilbert Renteria Jr., age 30, and Alex Gregory Martinez, age 27,

Misty is survived by many loving friends and relatives including her husband, Paul Singh Sr.; her son, Paul Jr. and her daughter, Mia.

Pray for justice for Misty.

God save us from the thieves. Their greed is killing us, Father.

Pray that Misty is in heaven. Pray that she is at peace and is with God. Amen.
