Jonathan Price - killed by thieves in Lexington, Kentucky

Jonathan Price, age 26, of Versailles, Kentucky, died on June 21, 2014, at a hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.

Jonathan and his wife, Megan, were out celebrating Megan's birthday. At about 1:30 a.m., they were leaving a night club when they were approached by two men who demanded money. One of the men had a gun. In the confrontation, Jonathan and Megan were both shot. They were rushed to a local hospital where tragically Jonathan succumbed to his injuries.

Megan will recover from her wounds.

The thieves ran off and have not been apprehended as of this posting. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Lexington Police Crimestoppers at 859-253-2020 or 1-877-970-2020.

Jonathan and Megan were married in August of 2013. They never made it to their first anniversary. Friends stated that Jonathan was madly in love with his wife.

described as a wonderful son and a blessing to his family. He was a friend to everyone and could always be counted on. He will be forever mourned.

Jonathan had served honorably as a Lance Corporal with the U.S. Marines. He currently worked at Link-Belt Construction Equipment. He was a man of faith and attended Southland Christian Church.

Jonathan is survived by many loving friends and family members including his mother, Debbie Price; his father, John Price Jr.; and his wife, Megan.

Thank you for your service to your country, Jonathan.

Pray for justice for Jonathan.

God save us from the thieves. They are killing us, Father.

Pray that Jonathan is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
