Markus Holden - a store customer killed in Houston, Texas

Markus Holden, age 43, died on November 14, 2013, at a convenience store in northwest Houston, Texas. 

Markus was a customer of the Super John Food Store in the 5400 block of Gessner Drive.

At about 8:45 p.m., three masked gunmen stormed into the convenience store in order to rob it. One suspect jumped the counter and took money from the register.  The other two suspects took wallets and personal belongings from some of the customers.  Markus refused to give up his wallet and was therefore shot and killed. 

The 3 men fled the scene.

man who could cheer you up on the worst of days.  He could make you laugh. He was helpful to friends in need.  Everyone called him "Richard Pryor" because of his resemblance to the comedian.  

He was a member of the Latter Day Prayer Band Ministry.  Church members there describe him as humble, caring and uplifting.

Markus is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his mother. 

Pray for justice for Markus. 

Not only are the clerks not safe in convenience stores, but neither are the customers.  God help us.

God save us from the thieves. They are killing us, Father. Amen.

Pray that Markus is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
